CSI: Gil/Greg

Conundrum by Kat Reitz and Tzigane - This is the story that made me believe in Gil/Greg. I think it may have been the first CSI fic I ever read. Kat Reitz and Tzigane are writing this series of short stories for the 30 Lemons Challenge, which basically means each chapter has at least a little smut, usually it's a lot of smut. But it's done very well. And, above all else, it's believable. It's not over the top like a lot of Gil/Greg fic. They aren't huge kinkmeisters. But, they have their fun. It's a pretty entertaining series.

G2 by Kat Reitz and Perryvic - I'll start off by warning that this is mpreg. BUT, that's a big but, it's all completely justified by science. The girls at caffiends.net do this to me all the time. I find myself reading stuff I never thought I would. G2 is kind of a sci-fi fic. Some weird shit happens. Gil and Greg are totally in character. There's not a lot I can say about it, except that it's very good. The imaginiation the authors have is incredible. The story's completely original and creative. It's a good one if you're looking for something a little off the wall.

CSI: Gil/Warrick

Working Out by Shelley Russel - This series can be found at CSI Slash if you scroll down a bit. This is the only Gil/Warrick fic I'm recommending. Gil/Warrick is the hardest CSI pairing to write in my opinion. It's very difficult to keep both Gil and Warrick perfectly in character. I've only seen it done once. Shelley Russel has the Gil/Warrick dynamic down like no other writer. She keeps both Gil and Warrick very manly in their uncommunicative ways. They don't cry or weep. And neither of them are making grand declarations of undying love. They're just two men that love each other and they're trying to work it out. This story has had me laughing out loud, silently crying, and sitting on the edge of my seat with my mouth hanging open. Some of the issues she touches on in this fic...well it's something I wish could write.

CSI: Greg/Warrick

I Put A Spell On You by sandersyager - A short glimpse into the lives of Greg and Warrick. I like just about any fic that has Greg, Warrick, and music involved but I love this ficlet, because it's simple and it rings true. I love Warrick's voice in it. And the fic was kind of dedicated to me, so it gets bonus points for that reason alone.

Under Observation by MamaLaz - There aren't a lot of Greg/Warrick fics out there. And there are even less funny Greg/Warrick fics out there. This is my favorite one. During the entire fic, you're in Greg's head. And it's a pretty amusing trip. She has the fun/goofy/off-kilter Greg down.

CSI: Nick/Warrick

Amnesia by Korbjaeger - Amnesia fic! Yeah, it's been done before. But I like this one. I think I like this one because it's Warrick that needs to be taken care of. In just about every other Nick/Warrick fic I've read Warrick's the one taking care of Nick. It's nice to see the roles reversed.

Out of the Depths by Vixcntric - This is my favorite post-burial fic out there. There were a few of parts that had me laughing out loud. It's one of the few stories I go back to reread every once in awhile. It's just a great story, beginning to end.
